We have been fans of The Julies since stumbling across their EP at a local music store in the mid-nineties. As the years have gone by and the traces of the band have disappeared on the internet, we have remained fans. And interestingly, it seems we are not alone. Every person we know who is familiar with the EP has a special relationship to it. Often it’s the unique artwork that they remember. More often, it’s the great sound of the songs, unique while invoking elements of the The Smiths, The Cure, Ride and others.
TW Walsh will be remastering the songs, and we will have the record produced both on black vinyl and a special red and white colored vinyl. The band has also dug up some old copies of their records, CDs and cassettes, and we’re offering those up as well.
