Joey Joesph is a Cincinnati-based songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist crafting kaleidoscopic rock & roll shaped by ‘70s pop, psych-tinged power pop, and DIY home-recording ethos. A founding member of the beloved psych-pop band Pomegranates, Joey has spent the last decade forging a prolific solo career under his signature alliterative moniker.

His 2021 album Nite Vibes, released by Lost in Ohio, channeled the cinematic scope of Pink Floyd and the glam-drenched pulse of Bowie into a disco-tinged concept album following an extra-dimensional pop star alter ego. He followed it with Do You Bongo? (2022), a wild, new-wave-infused rock opera set in a dystopian future where punk bands fight back against cult-like oppression. Across his catalog, Joey’s songwriting remains restless, shape-shifting, and brimming with vibrant sonic world-building.

Joey has shared stages with Chastity Belt, Diane Coffee, Islands, and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, among others.
