At Lost in Ohio, we strive to ensure that you are satisfied with your purchase. Please review our return and refund policies carefully before placing an order.
Mail Order Products
Lost in Ohio does not accept returns on mail order products and offers replacements only for defective or significantly damaged merchandise. Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled. If you notice any issues with your order in your confirmation email, please contact us immediately by replying to the order confirmation email or using our Contact Form.
What qualifies as defective or significantly damaged? A defective or significantly damaged product is one that is unplayable, severely warped beyond normal use, contains the wrong music or pressing, or has manufacturing defects that prevent normal listening. Minor surface noise, slight warping that doesn't affect playability, vinyl color variations, or cosmetic jacket damage does not qualify as eligible for replacement under this policy.
We are aware that vinyl packaging is fragile and we take great care in packing items to minimize damage, but standard shipping wear and tear does not constitute a defective or significantly damaged product. Minor cosmetic damage caused during transit—such as slight corner bends, creases or seam splits—does not qualify as eligible for replacement under this policy.
Reporting Issues
Please report any issues with defective or significantly damaged products within 14 days of delivery. Contact us by replying to your order confirmation email or using our Contact Form. Please retain all packing materials, as we may require photographs for processing claims.
International Orders & Shipping Insurance
All international orders include shipping insurance to protect against loss or significant damage during transit. If your package does not arrive or arrives in a significantly damaged condition, please contact us by replying to your order confirmation email or using our Contact Form. We will work with you to file an insurance claim and once approved, will issue a replacement or refund. Please retain all packaging materials , as we may require photographs for processing claims..
Downloadable Products
All sales of downloadable products are final. Once a download code has been issued, it is non-refundable, even if the customer has not yet downloaded the product. Due to the nature of our download codes, we cannot revoke access once it has been provided. If you experience issues accessing your download, please contact us by replying to your order confirmation email or using our Contact Form, and we'll be happy to assist.
Approved Refunds
For approved refund requests, a refund will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to process and post the refund. If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved, please contact us by replying to your order confirmation email or using our Contact Form.
For Customers in the European Union
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason, provided the product seal remains unbroken. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning unopened goods to our address in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA.
Once a sealed audio recording is opened, the right of withdrawal is waived as permitted under EU consumer protection law.
For defective or non-conforming products, we please contact us per the Reporting Issues section above. This does not affect your statutory rights regarding defective products.
