I Am Your Pity

Lost in Ohio presents I Am Your Pity, the debut solo album from LG Galleon (frontman of Brooklyn's Dead Leaf Echo), out November 12, 2026 on limited-edition Dark Orchid vinyl and all streaming platforms.

For nearly two decades, LG Galleon has fronted Dead Leaf Echo, a Brooklyn collective whose lush-sounding releases have driven comparisons to bands like Cocteau Twins, Ride, and My Bloody Valentine. I Am Your Pity is his first record under his own name, and it arrives as a sonic departure, with acoustic guitars building the same wall of sound and atmosphere of his prior work.

Lead track "Hello Mephisto (Strangleheart)" opens the record on a peal of cathedral bells layered on top of the frenetic strum of acoustic guitars and timpani, setting the pace for the album. Other tracks like "45" and "Paralyzed" see eruptions into shoegazing fury, bringing back to mind his previous work. Throughout, Galleon's voice sits at the front, with some of his most personal lyrics to date.

The album is mixed by James Aparicio in London, and pressed on limited-edition Dark Orchid vinyl in Amsterdam. Packaging design is by Timothy O'Donnell (4AD, Beggars Banquet). LG and his bands are playing shows throughout North America and Europe in support of this release.
